About our Council
Tinto Council in Milford was founded September 15, 1888. This year we celebrate our 121st Anniversary! The Tinto Council works closely with the St. Mary's, St. Ann's, St. Gabriel's, St. Agnes, and Christ the Redeemer Parishes in Milford, providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish, etc.

The Grand Knight for fraternal year 2009-2010 is David Conroy.

Council Meetings
Fr. F. Breen Assembly, 1st Thursday of every month, 8pm at the Knights of Columbus Annex (downstairs).

Council meeting, 2nd Thursday of every month, 8pm at the Knights of Columbus Lounge.

About the Knights
Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.
