Knights of Columbus Tinto Council #47

Sir Knight Al Tonry stepped up this holiday season to chair the “Keep Christ In Christmas” campaign. Al quickly moved into action, selling out all of last year’s “It’s OK To Say Merry Christmas To Me” buttons, and organizing a committee to sell the 150 new buttons ordered this year by our council.

Volunteers worked the crowds outside Shop Rite on December 19 as shoppers prepared for the first big snowstorm of the year. Despite the chilly weather, the hearts of shoppers were warm and generous.

As of last report, button sales and donations had raised over $500, and funded the purchase of a new 24-foot long “Keep Christ in Christmas” sign that should be mounted on the front of our building by the time you read this.

Thank You to Al, John Meuser, and the other volunteers for their hard work to revive this committee and return the focus of the season to our New Born King!
